Illustrator assignment: 

1. Take one simple object
   
2. Photo or scan into photoshop image
   
3. Import into Illustrator, draw object using pen tool. Experiment with layers, vectors, holding handles, etc.
   

Using original image- turn into compound design. 

Experiment with radial rotation, mirror imaging, scaling, etc.

So far, so good.....
